Emily Bennett provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She also provides marriage and couples counseling. Emily primarily utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy in sessions, but will integrate other evidence-based practices to meet the individualized needs of her clients. She is a National Certified Counselor (Certificate #1729813) and a Provisionally Licensed Counselor in the state of West Virginia (License #892). In addition to her counseling work, Emily teaches various courses as an adjunct faculty member in the Counseling Graduate Program at Marshall University. Emily graduated with her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kansas State University.
